It is essential to develop a list of long-term and short-term issues to be considered by the EBA.

In the short-term the following issues should be addressed:

  • Patio Policy
  • Elgin Street Planning Policy
  • Elgin Street Parking

In the long-term the following issues should be addressed:

  • Upgrading Elgin Street
  • Transportation, traffics and parking issues
  • Zoning of Elgin Street and surrounding area
  • Parking policy as same relates to ticketing, towing, meters and special licenses

 
  • Bylaw Decision
    As outlined to the EABA membership, a recent decision of the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB), involving the appeal 595799 Ontario Limited, of provisions of the June 25, 2008 City of Ottawa (City) Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 208-250 (CZB) is available for download: CBZ decision (PDF).
